LED Pendant from the Hayes collection in Polished Nickel finish. During the Machine Age, the safety of the worker became a matter of pivotal importance. Consequently, safety features were designed into lighting fixtures for use in massive factories. What once would have been for protection is now a matter of visual intrigue. Hayes encapsulates an LED-powered light bulb in a frosted white glass tube, Machine Age metal mesh surrounds this column of light.
