Industry Leading 30 Day Return Policy

All like-new (uninstalled in original packaging) merchandise may be returned for a refund to the original form of payment less all shipping and handling fees (typically 10% – 20%) within 30 days of pickup or delivery, selecting in-store pick-up does not remove shipping and handling fees (typically 10% – 20%) issued by the manufacturer. All returns must be in like-new condition, properly packaged in original packaging with all parts and manuals in original condition. If a returned item is determined not to be in “like-new” condition, additional fees will be deducted from your refund or your refund may be denied completely. Any missing parts or damaged packaging will be subject to a minimum $50 service fee. Please visit our Online RMA Request Form to begin our hassle-free return process.

Defective & Damaged Items

Customer agrees to inspect all products within 24 hours of receipt, if any items are damaged or missing parts please visit our Online Parts Request Form to request parts or an exchange. The manufacturer will send replacement parts directly to your home or we will arrange for an in store exchange if necessary. *Please note the manufacturer(s) may request you to send pictures of the damaged/defective item(s). If damaged or missing parts are reported after 7 days customer is responsible for all manufacturer costs for replacement parts including shipping and handling.

No Cancellations Allowed

Once we receive your order it is processed immediately, this means that no changes or cancellations can be accepted. Please visit our Online RMA Request Form to begin our hassle-free return process.


Shipping & Handling

All online orders include free showroom pick up OR free ship-to-home on all regular sized parcel items shipped directly from the manufacturer within 1 to 3 business days. Online orders of $150 or less are subject to an additional shipping charges issued by the manufacturer, if necessary a UPS shipping quote will be emailed as soon as possible. Items marked SHOWROOM DISPLAY as noted in the item description include free showroom pickup; we are unable to ship SHOWROOM DISPLAY items due to the fragile nature of items no longer packaged in the manufacturers original carton. Oversized freight items are not eligible for free shipping, if there is any additional shipping charge you will receive an email as soon as possible to purchase the freight charges online. Showroom Pick Up

Orders selected for local showroom pick up will usually be available for pick up within 3 to 21 days. IN STOCK & SHOWROOM DISPLAY items may be available for pick up the same day depending on product location and staffing availability; you will receive an email notification once your order is available for pick up. All online orders selected for showroom pick up are to be picked up within 30 business days of product arrival notification. Items not picked up within 30 days of arrival will be considered abandoned and returned to the manufacturer, manufacturer restocking fees of 50% minimum of the original item price will be deducted and any remaining amount will be refunded to the original form of payment online. No exceptions can be made to this policy without prior written consent.

Large Orders, Custom Orders

Due to the nature of lighting some items can not be shipped UPS or FedEx ground. In this instance common carrier truckers are a dependable and economical way to deliver your product in two to three weeks. Deliveries are made Mon. – Fri. daytime hours to curbside or driveway only. If you need lift gate or other special delivery services, contact us at customerservice@lightnleisure.com or 781-281-9581. A representative from the common carrier trucking company will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment. Extra charges may apply to common carrier truck shipments and you will be notified of these prior to shipping. Commercial/Contractor/Large Job orders over $2,500, or more than six units are subject to a 50% restocking fee if returned for any reason other than manufacturing defect. We recommend ordering a sample product prior to placing your main order if you are unfamiliar with the product. We reserve the right to change or modify this clause on a case by case basis.


Warranty Policy

Light ‘N Leisure “The Purple Buildings” proudly stands behind the products we sell. We offer a 30 day guarantee on every item we carry; after our 30 day guarantee has expired, all warranties, expressed or implied, are directed to the manufacturer of your item. This guarantee does not cover breakage or malfunctions, caused by mishandling or use of the product in ways other than specified by the manufacturer. Light bulbs included with product are supplied by the manufacturer for testing purposes only and are not covered by any guarantee or warranty. Unless specifically noted, the lighting, furniture and other products sold are for residential use only, and are not designed, manufactured, or recommended for use in a commercial or non-residential setting.
